Christmas

"What do you think the best day of your life is?"

" I don't know, it probably hasn't happened yet, and it's going to be pretty exciting."

                                                                                                      - A child on the streets of New York when asked by a reporter, paraphrased by my memory, and laziness to check the actual quote.

I'm pretty sure a few of those days just happened a few days ago. 23rd and 24th December.

Much to my surprise, there was a havan happening for Christmas Puja. I had a Math test the next day. Scared at first, my wisdom got the better of me.

I had been longing to go, like millions of others, to go to a Seminar, International or National Puja, to feel the cool breeze flowing not only throughout your hands and head, but your whole body. Being surrounded by the hospitable environment and Divine Energy. Covid-19, however, had better plans. It is a feeling that only a sahajayogi can understand.

I don't know why, but when I got up after attending the havan, I felt it again. I felt so satisfied, as if Shri Mataji had heard my subconscious prayers.

But that was not the only reason. The next day, tests had finally ended, and winter break was about to start. Christmas was tomorrow.

After attending the havan, I sat in front of the computer to check out all the videos I had missed by my favourite YouTubers. Both were emotional and heartfelt.

The Greatest Title Sequence I've Ever Seen

As if the day was not only spectacular, a friend of mine  I long to talk to more often but am not able to texts me.

"Hey.
Guess what.
I'm on the seventh season of Doctor Who."

Excitement rushed through my veins as I frantically started typing to
chat and know more about it. Finally, a whovian friend. Another close friend of mine was also texting me at the same time, and we were talking about Frozen 2, another piece of media I love.

Later that night, another friend I am not able to talk as often as I wish I could due to living in different time zones messaged me "OMG is that you?" after finally seeing what I looked like on my Christmas story.

Thank you, Universe.
